DOROTHY E. JACOBS, surviving spouse of the Rev. Charles E. Jacobs, (Detroit Conference Clergy), died on Monday, May 5, 2008. RICHARD A. TESTER, retired WMC pastor, died 4/29/08 in Arizona. He served Millville UMC retired in 2004. A memorial service was held May 3, in Arizona. Mrs. Lydia Tester is planning another service when she returns to Michigan, date yet to be determined. Memorials may be made to UMCOR in Richard's honor. WALTER ROTHFUSS, retired WMC clergy, died April 30, 2008 while at Jordan's Nursing Home in Bridgman, MI. The funeral was held Saturday, May 3, at St. Joseph: First UMC. JOYCE DERBY, mother of the Rev. Donald R. Derby (Detroit Conference clergy), died April 16, 2008, after a 2-year illness.
